Santolin Alessandro
Specialization in electrical engineering and automation combined with a long experience, both technical and commercial, in the fields of metallurgy, metalworking, mechanical and electromechanical construction, quality management, sales, purchasing and logistics. Founder of Midas, he personally deals with the management of the company, ensuring a purely western mentality together with a deep knowledge of the Chinese market obtained thanks to the presence in China for many years and the knowledge of the Chinese language. For a decade he worked in China as a manager for the Italian group Danieli Officine Meccaniche, during this period he was able to develop an extensive network of relationships and a deep experience of the Chinese market that he now makes available to his customers. The proactive and systematic character gives the company a strong aptitude for continuous improvement together with a great sensitivity to ethical aspects and environmental sustainability.

Midas is headquartered in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. An area of high economic and industrial development so as to be the first city in China in terms of GDP per capita. It is located in an ideal position from which to easily and quickly reach the major industrial areas. Thanks to the extensive network of high-speed trains, it is possible to reach in less than two hours the major neighbouring cities such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing. In less than five hours by train you can reach Beijing, Jinan, Zhengzhou, Hefei, Wenzhou. Wuxi airport is half an hour’s drive away, from the same you can reach all major Chinese cities with direct daily connections.
Distribution center in Italy
To closely serve its customers, Midas has invested in an office located in Brendola in the province of Vicenza, a few minutes from the A4 motorway exit.
The Italian headquarters includes a storage warehouse operating as a distribution center. For the construction sector, the headquarters also deals with the direct sale to the public of machines and spare parts as well as being a service and maintenance center thanks to a renewed mechanical workshop and highly experienced technicians.
